Mitchell Partners with Enterprise Rent-A-Car to Enhance
Auto Repair Management and Insurance Claims
Direct integration into RepairCenter™ and WorkCenter™ streamlines vehicle rental process
San Diego, CA—October 4, 2011—Mitchell International, Inc., a leading provider of technology, connectivity and information solutions to the Property & Casualty claims and Collision Repair industries, today announced a partnership with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Under the terms of the agreement, Mitchell will directly integrate Enterprise Rent-A-Car services into both its leading-edge auto repair management software and insurance claims management software solutions—RepairCenter™ and WorkCenter™—automating and simplifying the end-to-end vehicle rental workflow for insurance carriers. Planned for availability in early 2012, this functionality will help to create efficiencies and increase customer satisfaction.
The integration simplifies the rental process by eliminating manual updates and “middleman” communication between the insurer, body shop, rental agency and consumer. When a repair is delayed, an automatic notification can be sent from RepairCenter’s shop management system directly to WorkCenter insurance users or to the Enterprise representative to let them know they need to perform a rental task. Representatives and claims handlers will be able to manage vehicle rental tasks through WorkCenter such as send rental requests, extend rentals and receive rental updates.
"We are extremely pleased to partner with Enterprise Rent-A-Car to make vehicle rental integration a standard part of automotive claims processing," said Paul Rosenstein, Mitchell’s Vice President of Claims Solutions. "Partnerships with respected industry leaders like Enterprise Rent-A-Car are a part of our commitment to simplify and optimize complex claims and business environments, ultimately creating an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the claims process."
Dave Smith, Vice President Strategic Solutions Sales for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, said, “This partnership is a significant opportunity for insurers to speed up automotive claims processing and increase customer satisfaction. In addition, direct integration of Enterprise Rent-A-Car into Mitchell’s solutions empowers small insurers to gain access to rental integration without having to build it themselves.”
Demos and other opportunities to learn about and experience this solution will be available in the early 2012 timeframe. For more information, please fill out the claims contact us form on Mitchell.com or contact your Mitchell representative.
