Disasters Declared as Hurricane Sally Batters Gulf Coast

September 16, 2020
1 MIN READ

The states of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama have declared states of emergency related to Hurricane Sally. The federal government has approved those disaster declarations and is providing emergency assistance. Serious disruptions in services are being experienced in those states. Mitchell ScriptAdvisor has implemented emergency protocols for those states allowing injured workers to obtain early refills and longer fills to help ensure continued access to necessary pharmacy care. As Sally moves inland, northern Georgia and the Carolinas are expected to be significantly impacted. Mitchell will be monitoring the storm and will make similar adjustments in those impacted areas as necessary.
